One founder, one garage, one enclosure that folds.

StowGolf is built by Brett Martin in Tempe, Arizona. This page says who that is, what the product is in one paragraph, where it stands today, and how the site is kept honest, so you can decide whether to trust the rest of it.

Who is behind StowGolf?

One person: Brett Martin, a golfer in Tempe, Arizona, who wanted a real simulator bay in a two-car garage and still wanted to park in it.

There is no team page because there is no team. I designed the enclosure, built the July prototype in my own garage, worked with the factory on the production-spec sample, and I write every word on this site. When you email hello@stowgolf.com, I am the one who answers. When you reserve a build, I am the one you are paying, through a Stripe checkout, and I am the one who refunds it if you change your mind.

The product exists because the alternatives did not work for my house. Mounted retractables bolt to the building. Fixed kits take the parking spot for good. A DIY fold-away wall takes weekends and still needs anchors in the ceiling. I wanted a full bay that stands on its own, folds flat against the wall, and moves with me, so I built one.

What is StowGolf in one paragraph?

A freestanding golf simulator enclosure that folds flat against the wall.

It plays at about 10 ft wide x 5 ft deep x 7 ft 6 in tall. Freestanding, no drilling. The complete enclosure and the impact screen come in one kit at one price; launch monitor, projector, and hitting mat (the buyer supplies these). Folded: Flat against the wall: about 20 in off the wall on the factory sample as shipped (measured); production bases get a U-slot so the frames nest to an estimated 12 in, not yet measured. List price $2,495; the first 25 builds go at the founders price of $2,295, held by a $100 refundable reservation. Patent pending. Designed in Tempe, Arizona.

The long version is on the details page, the numbers are on the spec sheet, and the questions buyers ask are answered on the FAQ.

Where does it stand today?

Not yet shipping. The first factory sample was delivered October 8, 2026 and built and folded in Tempe on October 10. Stock lands in Tempe around early January if the factory order goes in on schedule, and dates are confirmed to reservation holders first.

  • July 2026. The first prototype folded in 45 seconds on camera, first attempt, one person, no tools. That number belongs to July and to that prototype.
  • October 8, 2026. The first factory sample, built to the production spec, was delivered to Tempe in cartons by parcel carrier.
  • October 10, 2026. Built and folded in the garage. Phone photos, and the first fold on video.
  • October 11, 2026. First round played in it, with GSPro on the projector. Folded depth measured at about 20 in off the wall as shipped.
  • Next. Stock lands in Tempe around early January if the factory order goes in on schedule. Reservation holders get the dated schedule first.

The dated build log, with every photo and clip, is at /sample. The offer is spelled out at /reserve.

How is the site kept honest?

Every fact lives in one file, every third-party price names its retailer and the date it was read, and anything unmeasured is listed as unmeasured instead of guessed.

  • One source. The spec sheet, the FAQ, the guides, the machine-readable product data, and the plain-text summary for assistants all read the same published facts, so they cannot drift apart. If a number changes, it changes everywhere on the same day and the date line moves.
  • Unmeasured means unmeasured. As of October 15, 2026, these have deliberately not been published: folded depth of a production unit; the production unit's fold time; weight; impact test results; exact ship date: confirmed to reservation holders first; owner reviews. They are not stated as numbers anywhere on this site.
  • Other companies' numbers carry a source. Every rival price and dimension links to the maker's or retailer's own page with the date it was read. Prices move. If you spot one that has, email hello@stowgolf.com and it gets corrected.
  • Real footage for every functional claim. Every demonstration of the enclosure folding, stowing, or taking a ball is real footage of our own units, with any speed change labeled on the clip. Concept renders are labeled as renders.
  • The disclosures travel with the photos. The screen in every factory-sample photo is my own Carl's screen, used as the bridge while the production screen is in test. There is no netting on the sample. Both are stated wherever the photos appear.

Where else can you find StowGolf?

By email, at hello@stowgolf.com. That is the only confirmed channel today.

No social handles are listed here yet. When they are confirmed, they get added to this page first, so anything claiming to be StowGolf elsewhere that is not listed here is not us. If you are in the Phoenix area and want to see the sample fold in person, email and we will set a time.
