What we collect, and what we do with it.
Short version: an email address and, if you give them, a few answers about your room. It is used to send you build updates and to hold your reservation. It is not sold to anyone, and one reply gets you off the list.
What the site collects
- When you join the waitlist: your email address, and if you answer them, the two optional questions (where the enclosure would go and which launch monitor you have), the garage depth and ceiling answers, and how you heard about StowGolf.
- When you reserve a slot: your name and email as you enter them at the Stripe checkout, the slot number, and the payment status. Card numbers never touch this site; Stripe holds them.
- On every visit: the page you came from and any campaign tag in the link (so we know whether a Reddit post or an email brought you), and page-view counts through Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
- The site sets one cookie, and only for the owner's admin login. Visitors get no tracking cookie.
What it is used for
- To send you build updates and the schedule, which is what the waitlist is for.
- To hold and later fulfil your reservation, to refund it if you ask, and to answer your questions.
- To count which posts and pages bring people here. Nothing is sold, rented or traded to anyone.
Who handles it on our behalf
- Supabase stores the waitlist and reservation records on servers in the United States.
- Stripe runs the checkout and holds your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Resend delivers the emails we send you.
- Vercel hosts the site and counts page views.
- Each of these companies processes the data only to provide that service.
How long it is kept
- Waitlist records stay until you ask to be removed or until two years after the first 25 units have shipped, whichever comes first.
- Reservation and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
- To stop emails: reply to any of them with the word STOP, or write to hello@stowgolf.com. You are off the list the same day.
- To see or delete what we hold about you: email hello@stowgolf.com from the address you signed up with and we send a copy or delete it within a week.
- To refund a reservation: reply to your confirmation email or write to hello@stowgolf.com. The $100 is refundable in full, back to your card.
Age
- The site and the reservation are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
- This page is dated at the top. If the way we handle your information changes in a way that matters, the people on the list hear about it by email first. Last updated October 19, 2026.
